Construction Certificate
A Construction Certificate is a formal approval issued before building work can start on a development that already has Development Consent (DA approval).
Inclusions
Thorough assessment of detailed construction documentation against the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA), relevant Australian Standards, and NSW legislation
Verification of consistency with the approved Development Consent, including conditions, approved plans, and any deferred commencement requirements
Review and coordination of required specialist documentation, such as structural, fire safety, acoustic, stormwater, waterproofing and energy efficiency reports
Liaison and coordination with councils, the NSW Fire Brigade (FRNSW), and other relevant authorities where referrals or input are required
Identification of non‑compliances and provision of clear, practical guidance to assist the design team in resolving issues efficiently
Issue of the Construction Certificate (CC) once all statutory requirements and consent conditions are satisfied
Responsive and professional communication throughout the assessment and approval process
